A survey, conducted by ASHI® in conjunction with the National Association of
Realtors® (NAR), found that home inspections have
become an integral part of the real estate process. One of the key findings was
that nearly all Realtors® (99%) recommend that the
buyer get a home inspection.
Many area Realtors® recognize
that ASHI® certified member Home Inspectors have
high standards and ethics and they are a valuable resource for advice and
expertise. |
Office Presentations
Our Chapter members have extensive knowledge of buildings
and the home inspection process. Realtors® can tap
this resource by scheduling a presentation at an office meeting. Some of the
subjects include:
- The new Pennsylvania Home Inspection Law
- Identifying and resolving water/moisture problems.
- Structural defects, wood destroying insect damage.
- Life expectancies of major componants.
